Hi,

I totally agree with sleepless and feel the same way. I am a Londoner who works in advertising and has a nice flat. Most people think I am attractive and I dance well so often get loads of male attention. Again I find lots of men who want to go out with me but none who want a serious relationship. I believe they see that I am doing well for myself at a young age and this scares them off – or they try to take advantage (aload of dodgey men inna London)!
Now I look at men in a different way and feel I must take from them what I want as they have every intention of doing the same to me. I know, I know its not ideal but hey, why keep waiting for Mr. Right and keep being let down?
I’m feeling you sleepless, any advice for me doc??

Men are all around you. You just have to be open and cautious of whom you speak to. Don’t judge the book by the cover. I get dirty for my paper (plumber) but clean up well to engage in social settings. None the less, I like playing in the clouds. There is no set venue to meet a man or eligible man. Just be yourself and allow your beauty to radiate. And be all means-speak up if you have an interest in someone. Close mouths don’t get fed nor heard.

Network, network, network! As a woman, I have to say how dissappointed I am in my girlfriends who dog out a man simply because they are not attracted to him. Ladies, please believe that if you meet a nice man, he probably has some nice friends whom are also single. If you meet a man that isn’t really your type, get to know him and become his friend. He just might be a good person to have in your life, he just might introduce you to your next love destiny, or he may be the Mr. Right one of your girls has been waiting for. “It ain’t no fun, if the homies can’t have none”!

In response to your question, would a wo/man be worth your time and energy if you felt you needed to snoop on her/him? I’d rather just not be with a man that I felt I needed to be concened about in that way. I too am in the same boat. My BF is a DJ/party promoter and has a page on MySpace. I’m not going to lie, at 1st it bugged me a bit. However, the more time we spend together, the more his actions reassure me that the hoochies on his page don’t matter to him, and I do. His passion is dancing and music, and I know that there will be times when he is out without me and that girls will flirt with and pursue him (hell, they’ve already done it in front of me.) The thing is, I know he cares about me, and I care about him. In the grand scheme of things, that’s all that really matters and I’m not going to ruin our wonderful relationship with BS and jealousy. Besides, this ain’t high school and I have too much self respect to go through that shady stuff. Shoot.

tell mc yaps a lot, i’ll be waiting for the check… hahahe ohhhh j.k.

i dig all the music i’ve been exposed to through you all, just have little issures with the women sometimes, because i know they’re all queens and it’s against my principles to take up with women (unless they are touching him and i’m there, cause then we’re gonna have some words) but really in the end… he hears it and not them, because he communicates better with me… he is my friend and i support that.

i’ll keep staying strong, even though sometimes i don’t want to.
